Active Ingredients

Active Ingredients in each 5ml dose:

• Hedera helix (ivy leaf) dry extract (5-7.5:1) 35mg
• Also contains: citric acid, natural cherry flavour, potassium sorbate, sorbitol 1.93mg/5ml (sugar substitute), xanthan gum, purified water.
• Shake well before use.

Recommended Dosage: Using the enclosed measuring cup.

Adults and children over 12 years: 5ml 3 times daily.

Children 6-12 years: 5ml twice daily.

Children 2-6 years: 2.5ml twice daily.

Children under 2 years of age: 2.5ml twice daily.

Young children can develop serious illness quickly. They should always be examined by a Doctor for a full check up. As part of a treatment plan, Clinicians Prospan Bronchial Syrup can be used at the recommended dose. This age group should be monitored for possible diarrhoea and vomiting.³

Additional Information: Clinicians Prospan Bronchial Syrup should be used in children under two only after having consulted with a health care professional. Compared with other children, this age group should be monitored very carefully as particular attention must be paid to possible diarrhoea and vomiting.³ It is recommended that you continue to take Clinicians Prospan Bronchial Syrup for an additional 2-3 days after symptoms have disappeared. Do not take Clinicians Prospan Bronchial Syrup for longer than one month as long-term studies have not been conducted beyond this time frame.⁴ In the event of persistent complaints or the appearance of shortness of breath, consult your health care professional.
